Help your child spark their lightbulb moment with ourWimbledon-based English GCSE group sessions!

Wimbledon Library, Andrew Wilson

After building a thriving, international community of students and expert tutors alike, Tutti Tutoring is branching out into our local community.

From November 2026, Tutti will be running weekly sessions for both English Literature and English Language at Wimbledon Library, Tuesdays 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Focusing on the AQA curriculum for both subjects, these sessions are designed for students in both Year 10 and Year 11 who are looking to build confidence in their English studies by refining their analytical and writing skills.

Situated less than a fifteen-minute walk from Wimbledon College, Ursuline High School, Harris Academy and Richards Lodge High School, Wimbledon Library is the perfect space to host these sessions. Accessible and central, the library offers spacious working environments that benefit from natural light, an abundance of resources, and an incredible staff, making it the perfect place to spark your child’s lightbulb moments.

❋ Comprehensive Six-Week Blocks

Throughout the year, we will be delivering topics across five/six-week blocks. Each block will focus on a core text or skill required for the GCSE, e.g., Macbeth for Literature and Imaginative Writing for Language.

❋ Tutor Expertise

Sessions will be led by Alys Smith, an experienced tutor and owner of Tutti Tutoring. Her years of experience as an educator, alongside her BA in English from Durham University and an MA in Creative Writing from Cambridge, make Alys the perfect guide for your child.

❋ A Comfortable and Supportive Environment
❋ Bespoke Materials & Resources

All students will be provided with bespoke resources and materials throughout each block, which they can take home. These have been designed by our team of experts: qualified teachers and GCSE & A-Level English examiners.

Alongside a comfortable and accessible learning space, juice and snacks will be provided for students throughout the sessions. We can also strive to meet any required adjustments to ensure your child can thrive in our sessions.

Client Testimonials

"I had the fortune of meeting Alys four years ago, as I was halfway through my English Literature A-Level. With her lessons, I went from earning low marks to eventually gaining an A for my overall grade.

Alys was not only incredibly kind and patient, but was also able to methodically explain how to structure my essays and the specific tips that I needed to best improve.

Since then I have gone on to study Comparative Literature and graduate with a first class in both my dissertation and degree. I highly recommend Alys who helped me set my foundation in such a subjective course like literature.

- Ayra, former student

“Alys guided me through my English Literature and Language GCSE. My grade went from a C/5 in the start of Year 10 to an A*/9 in my final GCSE. She extended my learning of the novels by providing me with external top grade information that I hadn’t studied in my school class. With English Language, we studied each reading skill and writing task in depth, giving me a great understanding of what the examiners would look for.

I would really recommend Tutti Tutoring as we created a great bond as well as a great set of English results. Thank you Alys!”

- Abigail, former student
